Thuma Lifetime Warranty

We build strong, quality pieces that are built to last a lifetime. We fully believe in thequality of our product and stand behind a lifetime warranty for all of our customers. Inthe circumstance that a piece is broken, we will replace any defective parts or theproduct, as necessary.

A. Who the warranty covers

The lifetime warranty extends to the original purchaser of the item. The item must be purchased directly from Thuma.co by the original purchaser. Please maintain a copy of the receipt for proof of purchase.

B. What the warranty covers

The lifetime warranty covers any breakage or defects of the wooden frame, including the slats. Any breakage must occur while the product is in normal “bedroom” use. The frame must be assembled correctly. The warranty does not cover any damage that occurs in transit between moves or locations. Photos of the breakage must be provided for review. All warranty claims are subject to inspection by Thuma. We reserve the right to determine whether or not damages are covered under the Thuma Warranty, in our sole discretion. The warranty covers repair or replacement for broken/defective pieces or products and/or replacement of like-product in the value of original purchase.

C. What the warranty does not cover

The lifetime warranty does not cover small cracks, dents, or stains to the wooden frame that do not affect the functionality of the product. The PillowBoard, including the slipcover, is not covered under the warranty. The warranty does not cover products purchased or used in hospitality, home rental, or other business use cases.

The Nightstand

The Mattress

Thuma 15-Year Warranty

We build strong, quality pieces that are built to last a lifetime. We fully believe in the quality of The Mattress and stand behind a 15-year warranty for all of our customers.

A. Who the warranty covers

The 15-year warranty extends to the original purchaser of the item. The item must be purchased directly from Thuma.co by the original purchaser. Please maintain a copy of the receipt for proof of purchase.

The Mattress warranty is only valid if the law tag is attached and has not been altered or tampered with. An attached, unaltered law tag is required to identify the mattress. The Mattress warranty is void if the mattress cannot be properly identified.

The Mattress, which comes in a compressed and rolled manner, also referred to as “bed-in-a-box,” must be opened within thirty (30) days of receiving The Mattress to prevent compression for an extended period of time.

B. What the warranty covers

The 15-year warranty covers any defects of The Mattress. Photos of the defect must be provided for review. All warranty claims are subject to inspection by Thuma. We reserve the right to determine whether or not damages are covered under The Mattress in our sole discretion.

  • Any VISIBLE indentation equal or greater than one and a half (1.5) inches that is NOT associated from the result of a faulty, improper or unsupportive foundation, box spring or base.
  • Any cosmetic damages to The Mattress NOT caused by normal wear and tear and that affects the performance of the mattress.
  • Any physical flaw in the natural latex foam that causes it to split or crack under conditions of normal use and proper handling.
  • Any manufacturing defect in The Mattress cover such as the fabric tearing or stitching unraveling. Any cosmetic damages to The Mattress, NOT caused by normal wear and tear or that affect the performance of the mattress.

C. What the warranty does not cover

  • An expected increase in softness due to normal usage.
  • Comfort preference. Thuma does not make any guarantees on the feel preference of The Mattress.
  • Normal wear and tear or any condition resulting from misuse or abuse of The Mattress or failure to keep The Mattress clean and free of stains and potentially unsanitary conditions.
  • Mold, odors, and/or discoloration caused by abnormal care including, but not limited to liquid spills, improper ventilation including, but not limited to, humid climates and/or areas where The Mattress is exposed to excessive water or humidity.
  • Damage associated with an improper bed frame, foundation, box spring, or base as determined by Thuma.
  • Damage that occurs in transit between moves or locations.
  • The Mattress being purchased or used in hospitality, home rental, or other business use cases.
